Description
| Whirlpool Washing Machine Heavy Duty Motor to Gearbox Coupling. Part No. WA285852, LP337HD, WP003L. Replaces WA285753, WA285140, 285753, 285140, 3364003. Heavy duty coupling used in late model Whirlpool large automatic washing machines. Connects the motor shaft to the gearbox. This part has a reinforced rubber ring in the centre rather than the plain rubber used in the normal part. Lasts longer than the normal part with normal wear and tear, but is still designed to fail in the event of a clothing tangle. The part supplied is now the new type coupling with a metal insert in the plastic brackets for added strength and longer life under normal wear conditions. It is used as standard on commercial Whirlpool models as used in Laundromats and Hotel/Motel situations and can be used to replace the standard coupling as used in most domestic models. This part often fails if clothing gets tangled around the agitator. |
